Nikki Houlden, MSN, RN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Nikki Houlden is a Nursing Instructor currently working at UNMC, College of Nursing, Northern Division in Norfolk, Nebraska. Ms. Houlden has been a nurse since 2008; working in Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, Long-term Care, Short-term Rehabilitation, and Psychiatry. Prior to her work in nursing, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Service Counseling and with this, worked in addiction medicine. Ms. Houlden graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with her Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2018. Since that time, she has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in outpatient psychiatry, and as a Program Director for an Intensive Outpatient Program for geriatric patients. Teaching has always been a passion for Ms. Houlden and she enjoys sharing her love for nursing with the next generations of nursing professionals.
