I received my Bachelor’s in Nursing from Nebraska Methodist College, and my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing. My Nurse Practitioner certification is in Women’s Health. I have 7 years of nursing experience in Maternal services, Community health, and Lactation, in addition to experience in Nursing Research as a graduate assistant. My DNP project was on Breastfeeding Empowerment in the African American community. I am currently a clinical assistant professor teaching in the undergraduate nursing program. I enjoy working in communities that are underserved and prioritize bridging gaps in healthcare.
