Wendy Ramaekers, MSN, RN
Wendy Ramaekers joined the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing in January 2020. She serves as a nursing faculty member on the Norfolk campus where her focus is on didactic and clinical education of students in the traditional BSN program. She spent the first 20 years of her nursing career working in rural health in a small Critical Access Hospital and Long Term Living Facility following her call to care for people. She began her teaching career at Central Community College completing her Master of Science in Nursing from Bryan College of Health Sciences in 2015. Ms. Ramaekers has a passion for mentoring and sharing her experiences as a nurse with the future generation.
Outside of work, Ms. Ramaekers spends most of her time with her husband following and supporting their four children in all their endeavors. She enjoys reading, learning anything new, and spending quality time with friends and family.
