Kim Michael, MA, RT(R), RDMS, RVT, FSDMS
Dr. Michael is a Professor in the College of Allied Health Professions at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she also holds the Anderson Distinguished Professorship. She has been involved in sonography education at UNMC since 1991 and has served as the Director of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program since 1998.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from UNMC and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a Doctor of Education from Clarkson College. She is actively involved in service to the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Dr. Michael has authored or co-authored over 50 publications related to sonography and health professions education. Her current research interests include Interprofessional Education and belonging in the clinical learning environment.
