Kearney
UNMC Kearney
Through a joint project with the University of Nebraska at Kearney, UNMC will, for the first time, educate physicians, pharmacists and public health professionals in rural Nebraska, in addition to expanding the current nursing and allied health professions programs already there.
The Douglas A. Kristensen Rural Health Education Complex also will offer professional development, training and continuing education opportunities for existing health care workers and support research that improves the lives of Nebraskans.
The new building will join the Health Science Education Complex, which holds the existing UNMC Nursing and Allied Health Professions programs.
UNK also offers bachelor's degrees and pre-professional programs for preparation for further studies at UNMC.
