Community outing club in Rec Therapy at MMI

The Community Outing Club takes adults with developmental disabilities ages 18 and older into the community to spend leisure and friendship time together. Participants attend concerts, sporting events, movies, bowling and more in the Omaha metro area.

Program details

Outings are schedule once a month.
Each group includes six to eight participants, four to five activity technicians, and is supervised by a trained recreation therapist.
Transportation is provided from MMI to the event.
There is a cost for each event.
