Claire Koukol, DDS, is an assistant professor in the department of growth and development at the UNMC College of Dentistry. In this role, she teaches pediatric dentistry residents and dental students diagnostic, clinical and critical thinking skills. Dr. Koukol received her DDS in 2017 and her certificate in pediatric dentistry in 2019, both from the UNMC College of Dentistry. Her research interests include parental presence in the operatory during procedures and prevention of early childhood caries. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association and Omaha District Dental Association.

In this role, she teaches undergraduate dental and dental hygiene students in Omaha and Lincoln clinics, provides didactic seminars and serves as clinical supervisor for residents in the pediatric dentistry program. Dr. McConnaughhay received her DDS from UNMC and has many research interests including dentistry for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. She is a member of several associations and academies.

Amir Farhangpour, DDS, is an associate professor in the department of adult restorative dentistry and the assistant dean for Omaha clinics at the UNMC College of Dentistry. Dr. Farhangpour received his DDS from Creighton University in 1995. His research interests include adhesive dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
