In addition to teaching, she has led and participated in research that has examined the role of the endothelium in the control of cerebral microcirculation.

Research Interests
Scholarly activity has focused on anatomical variations, cadaveric clinical case analyses, and the integration of educational technology. I have peer reviewed research manuscripts and edited book chapters.
Other research interests include examining changes in cerebral blood vessels during a variety of disease states with the belief that the studies provide insight into the pathogenesis of stroke disease states.
