Sarah Fellman

Dr. Fellman has been an occupational therapist since 2013 with experience working with children and adults in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation. She previously served as faculty at another institution primarily teaching physical rehabilitation and neurorehabilitation courses to entry-level occupational therapy students.

She is a certified kinesio taping practitioner and is certified in LSVT BIG, interactive metronome, therapeutic listening, and using Saebo products. Primary teaching responsibilities include Occupation Based Practice 2: Youth and Young Adults; Occupation Based Practice 3: Middle and Older Adults; Human Movement; and Structure and Function for Occupation. She looks forward to continuing her previous research and collaborating with colleagues.

Research Interests

Fellman's research has included the effectiveness of assessments in acute care, assessment development, and research on caregiver health management and burden.

Other research interests include the use of neurotechnology, effective interventions for persons with neurodegenerative diseases, and effective interventions for functional cognitive impairments.
