Valley, Neb., is the author of a fictional detective book series with a supernatural twist. Killer Insight and Dangerous Insight have been released, and more are on the way.

Omaha, Neb., was inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing in October 2025. Fellow UNMC nursing alumna Joyce Black N’81, GS’99, was one of her sponsors. In November, she received a 2025 Distinguished Scientist Award from UNMC.
Tammy Webster RST’00, GS’18
Gretna, Neb., was appointed executive associate dean of the UNMC College of Allied Health Professions in fall 2025 and will serve in that capacity until a permanent dean is appointed. She previously served as associate dean for academic affairs for allied health.
Lisa Moravec DH’02
Scottsbluff, Neb., received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Chadron State College in fall 2025. She serves as an associate professor and site coordinator for the UNMC College of Dentistry West Division Dental Hygiene Program in Gering, Nebraska, and also is an adjunct faculty member for Idaho State University’s Dental Hygiene Graduate Program. She is pursuing her Doctor of Education degree from A.T. Still University.
Omaha, Neb., was recently promoted to customer care manager at Streck.
Teresa Anderson N’03
Hastings, Neb., is set to retire June 1, 2026, from the Central District Health Department in Grand Island, after serving in the position since January 2003.
Amber Donnelly PH’04, GS’08
Elkhorn, Neb., was appointed associate dean for academic and student affairs in the UNMC College of Allied Health Professions in fall 2025, after serving as associate dean for student affairs for more than five years. She also holds the title of M. Patricia & James W. Leuschen Professor in the college. Prior to this, she served as director of the cytology program for more than 20 years. She also recently passed the prestigious International Academy of Cytology examination and was personally invited by the president of the IAC to serve on the foundation committee, recognizing her expertise and contributions to the field.

Vancouver, Wash., joined the Prosser Memorial Health Urology Center in fall 2025.
Omaha, Neb., was named a Distinguished Educator by UNMC’s Interprofessional Academy of Educators in fall 2025. She serves as a clinical associate professor and director of campus culture in the department of pharmacy practice and science in the College of Pharmacy. She also received the college’s 2024-2025 Impact Award.

Lincoln, Neb., Iowa, was promoted from assistant professor to associate professor in the UNMC College of Nursing Lincoln Division, effective July 1, 2025.

St. Paul, Minn., was promoted to the rank of professor in July 2025, at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy.
Josh Havens P’07
Omaha, Neb., is a clinical associate professor of pharmacy practice and science in the UNMC College of Pharmacy and serves as a clinical pharmacist in the Specialty Care Center HIV Program. He received the college’s 2024-2025 Scholar of the Year Award.
Arvada, Colo., retired from medical practice at age 33 and has embarked on a career in public health. He currently co-owns a Denver-based consulting firm focused on behavioral health and Medicaid.

Omaha, Neb., and her husband, Tony, welcomed a daughter, Blair, on Sept. 22, 2025. She joined big brother Walker.

Bloomsburg, Pa., was named director of the physician assistant program at Pennsylvania College of Technology in September 2025.
Farmington, N.M., is president of the New Mexico Dental Association for 2025-2026.

North Platte, Neb., appeared on the Nov. 21, 2025, episode of “Wheel of Fortune.”

Beatrice, Neb., received a New Investigator Award from UNMC in fall 2025. She serves as an assistant professor in the College of Nursing Lincoln Division.
