Tammy Webster, PhD, Named Dean of the UNMC College of Allied Health Professions
Tammy Webster, PhD, has been named dean of the UNMC College of Allied Health Professions (CAHP), effective May 1, pending approval by the University of Nebraska Board of Regents. A proud two-time UNMC alumna, Dr. Webster earned her degree in Radiography in 2000 and her PhD in 2018. She currently serves as executive associate dean in the CAHP.
A Day of Giving, a Future in Full Bloom
The fourth annual UNMC & Nebraska Medicine Giving Day, For the Greater Good, took place April 22–23, 2026, and the response from alumni and friends was nothing short of inspiring. $343,335 was raised through 2,045 generous gifts, planting meaningful seeds of support for scholarships, research, community programs, and student organizations across our campuses. Every advancement begins with generosity like this. Thank you for planting the seeds of impact and for helping our mission continue to grow, thrive, and bloom, all For the Greater Good.
New Health Education Building Opens Doors in Kearney
UNMC’s second building in Kearney means expanded nursing and allied health programs, including medical laboratory science, medical nutrition, OT, PT, PA, radiography, and sonography. Plus, medicine, pharmacy, and public health are now being offered here for the first time.
