Professional Bio

Beltzer returned to the Munroe-Meyer Institute as an Adaptive Therapy Specialist after initially beginning at MMI as a volunteer and Recreation Technician. Prior to returning to the MMI team, Beltzer spent nine years as a public high school special educator specializing in alternate curriculum instruction, life skills, and secondary transition.

Clinically, Beltzer’s work focuses on adaptive recreational programming, community integration, and functional independence for individuals with diverse learning needs. Beltzer integrates evidence-based strategies, including Structured Teaching and Verbal Behavior techniques, to build engagement, enhance life skills, and empower individuals across their lifespan.
