Mary Rose Gomez

Mary Rose Gomez is an Adaptive Therapy Specialist in the Recreational Therapy Department at the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute.

Professional Bio

Gomez joined MMI as a Registered Behavioral Technician in the Severe Behavior Department in 2020. During that time, she provided behavioral support for individuals in the home, school, and community settings. Her passion for supporting individuals through evidence-based behavioral practices and collaborating with teams to create positive outcomes carried over to her Adaptive Therapy Specialist role when she joined in 2025. In MMI’s Recreational Therapy Department, Gomez helps create a positive, supportive environment for all participants.
