Professional Bio

Kouris is a pediatric outpatient therapist specializing in individuals with complex communication needs. As a member of the Integrated-Applied Behavior Analytic and RiteCare teams, she offers specialized knowledge in diagnostic assessments and therapeutic interventions. Kouris also oversees the scheduling and coordination of RiteCare’s Augmentative and Alternative Communication Preschool, which empowers individuals to express themselves using a range of communication modalities.

Kouris takes a neurodivergent-affirming, evidence-based approach, focusing on functional communication to create individualized therapy plans. Her role as a mother of two children with disabilities adds an empathetic, personal understanding of the challenges families face. Kouris collaborates closely with families and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and meaningful care that addresses each individual's unique needs.
