Elhag serves as a Parent Resource Advocate at the Munroe-Meyer Institute, University of Nebraska Medical Center. Drawing from her background in clinical research and healthcare—including over eight years in UNMC’s pathology department and a QA/QI role at Research and Innovation in UNL—Elhag brings a deep understanding of systems that impact families navigating developmental challenges.
As a mother to a child with developmental delays, she combines professional expertise with lived experience to support families with empathy and clarity. Her multicultural journey—from the Middle East to Europe and the U.S.—shapes her inclusive approach, ensuring every family feels heard, respected, and empowered.
