Hands-on Learning

How better to determine an individual's employment potential than to let them try all different types of jobs they might actually have in the future?

PAES® allows participants to clock in and go to work in a simulated work environment.

  • Participants in this program can learn life skills, find out what job skills they are good at and discover their job interests and preferences.
  • PAES® teaches skills needed for vocational training, placement and independent living.
  • The program's goal is to determine what an individual can do on their own with as little help as possible.
  • PAES® assesses and trains proper work behaviors, eliminating many obstacles to successful job placement.
  • Participants learn through hands-on experience and are provided real and meaningful feedback.

Based on Research

PAES® is research-based and identifies aptitude for community-based employment, functional skills, interests, work behavior strengths and obstacles to success.
  • PAES® exposes students to hundreds of essential work and life skills.
  • PAES® encourages workplace independence and motivates students to achieve more.
  • PAES® is customizable to a students level of need, suiting a wide range of ages and abilities.

Assessment

PAES® provides three types of hands-on, performance-based assessments in one:
