Kearney Division
Interprofessional Learning in a Vibrant Setting
Our Kearney Division has but one standard – constant, uncompromising excellence – in its advancement of knowledge, in its service to health and in its care for people. The college is recognized for its commitment to quality education and learning environments which promote personal development, scholarship and the caring art and science of nursing.
We are located on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where prospective undergraduate nursing students complete prerequisites in an exciting college environment. Students can complete all undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees on the Kearney campus.
In August 2015, in partnership with UNK and the UNMC College of Allied Health Professions, the Kearney Division of the College of Nursing relocated to the 30,000 square foot technology-rich Health Science Education Complex. In 2026, the new Rural Health Education Building located directly north of the Health Science Education Complex will open its doors. The College of Nursing and College of Allied Health Professions will be joined by health professions students from UNMC Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy and Public Health. The expansion will provide students with rich opportunities to learn about, from and with each other.
