Health Literacy

In our work on understanding how to use mobile apps in clinical care with the underserved patient population, we identified substantial deficits in health literacy.

Our team is collaborating with health literacy and mobile app experts across the US to develop a tool that would enable providers to quickly evaluate a mobile app for health literacy suitability.
