Corinne Van Osdel, DDS, mentors residents in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry and General Practice Residency programs at affiliated hospitals. She teaches and oversees care provided by undergraduate dental and dental hygiene students at UNMC’s Omaha clinics.

Dr. Van Osdel also presents seminars and other classroom instruction for both students and residents. She combines teaching, clinical leadership and community advocacy, especially focusing on special‑needs dentistry and interdisciplinary education, to improve both student training and access to high-quality dental care for underserved populations.

She is active in community outreach and leadership through the American Dental Association and the Nebraska Dental Association. Dr. Van Osdel has been honored as a fellow of the International College of Dentists.
