Description   POSITION TITLE: Physical Therapist POSITION SUMMARY: Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs for patients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body parts. Maintains confidentiality. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Under valid ordering provider orders, provides diagnostic and therapy services with appropriate professional judgment for skilled care. Participates in the identification and referral of patients through screening, informal evaluations and communication with other persons. Re-evaluates skilled needs, modifies treatment plans, and prepares discharge summaries as warranted. Prepares and maintains written and electronic documentation as required for the profession and the department in a timely manner, including billing, evaluation reports, treatment plans and daily progress notes. MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: Possess or be able to obtain current driver’s license, or be able to provide an acceptable alternative; and Computer literacy skills. LIC/REG/CERT: Current Oregon licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility and evidence of application for licensure. NON-REG CERT: BLS certification required by end of month from 60 days of hire and maintained. TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach frequently. Possesses physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs. Must be able to see, hear and speak with or without assistive devices. Must be able to lift 50 pounds during patient mobility occasionally and 25 pounds or less frequently utilizing proper body mechanics. Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone. PAY RANGE: $39.40 - $57.45

Our therapists have autonomy in how they treat their patients, 45-minute 1-on-1 appointments, and collaboration with a larger team, including subspecialities, inpatient care team, and other disciplines.
