This module is part of the Region VII Radiation Response Team Training (Enduring Material Module Series).

The Session 2 module will take a deeper dive into the various radiation response incidents including nuclear detonation, radiological dispersal devices, nuclear power plants, and transportation/lost sources.

Module Information

Upon completion of this enduring material module, participants should be better able to:

Provide specific information on incident characteristics for each incident type.
Review planning guidance and response priorities for each incident type.
Define radiation response zones, radiation zones, and other common terminology.
Summarize key aspects of each incident type and why/how response may need to be adjusted.
