Module Information

Upon completion of this enduring material module, participants should be better able to:

Describe the nature of ionizing radiation illnesses and injuries.
Discuss medical countermeasures and decorporation therapies.
Identify core medical considerations of pre-hospital and hospital planning, activation, and roles.
Demonstrate radiological decontamination of patients.
List available resources that can assist in a radiological incident.
