The 5th Annual Heartland Interprofessional Education Conference provides an opportunity to share knowledge, build skills, experience professional development, and form collaborative relationships among learners, scholars, and practitioners in health care and interprofessional education. This year’s conference will focus on collaborating for competency -- in learning, research, and practice.

Target Audience

This accredited continuing education activity is designed for practitioners, educators, clinicians, researchers, learners, policymakers, and others interested in interprofessional education and practice.

Conference Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be better able to:

  1. Identify the benefits of collaborative learning, practice, and research within the health care team.
  2. Discuss how to incorporate the principles of interprofessional education and practice into your own field or specialty.
  3. Develop collaborative relationships with learners, researchers, and practitioners to engage in shared patient-centered problem-solving.
  4. Articulate the importance of developing and measuring interprofessional competence to improve team collaboration and patient care.

    • On your dashboard, click Evaluate an Activity.

You have until Aug. 17, 2023, to claim credit for this activity. You will need to complete the evaluation and attest to the time you spent participating in the activity. Your certificate will be saved in your UNMC MyCCE account under Certificates & Transcripts.
