Welcome! Thank you for joining us.

We’re excited to have you join us for this dynamic and enriching symposium designed to empower emergency medical services (EMS) professionals with the tools and resources needed to strengthen their ability to respond effectively to various high-stakes medical emergencies.

This offering will not only strengthen your clinical and operational capabilities but also serve as a tribute to the dedication and sacrifices made by EMS providers who serve our communities.

Throughout the symposium, you’ll engage in expert-led workshops, participate in interactive case studies, and connect with fellow EMS professionals from across the region. Our goal is for you to leave with actionable knowledge, expanded networks, and renewed energy to continue serving your community with excellence.

You’ll participate in specialized training through one of two focused tracks, based on certification level:

  1. General Track (EMR & EMT Levels)
This track offers practical, hands-on sessions designed to strengthen core competencies for Emergency Medical Responders and Emergency Medical Technicians. You’ll dive into key topics such as emergency response strategies, patient care fundamentals, and situational preparedness—all essential for building confidence and readiness in high-stakes scenarios.
  2. Advanced Track (Advanced EMT & Paramedic Levels)
Tailored for seasoned EMS professionals, this track explores complex case management, advanced clinical interventions, and leadership in emergency settings. Through scenario-driven discussions and deep dives into emerging practices, Advanced EMTs and paramedics will refine their expertise and gain insight into cutting-edge developments in pre-hospital care.

Note: While the advanced track is open to all, a working knowledge of advanced EMS concepts will help you get the most out of these sessions.

At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be better able to:

  1. Discuss evidence-based medical approaches in the treatment and management of patients who are undergoingmedical emergencies.
  2. Identify patients that may be experiencing medical emergencies by utilizing various shared tools while also teaching current best practices when working with those patients outside of a hospital setting and in the field.
  3. Describe innovative procedures used in the treatment of medical emergencies, demonstrating an understanding of relevant anatomy and related pathophysiology.

This accredited continuing education activity is designed for emergency medical services professionals.
