Welcome! Thank you for joining us.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Integrate current diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for the evaluation and management of heart failure, cardiomyopathies, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, including advanced pharmacologic, device-based, and surgical interventions.
- Identify emerging technologies and procedural innovations in electrophysiology, cardiovascular imaging, interventional cardiology, and structural heart interventions to optimize patient outcomes.
- Implement evidence-based, multidisciplinary approaches for the assessment and management of complex cardiovascular emergencies, incorporating the appropriate use of mechanical circulatory support systems.
- Incorporate best practices and evolving evidence into the surgical management of vascular and cardiothoracic conditions, including advanced endovascular, hybrid, and open repair techniques.
In support of improving patient care, University of Nebraska Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
