Region VII Radiation Response Team Training (Enduring Material Module Series)

This enduring material module series are recordings of previously held live presentations of Region VII Radiological Response Training webinars.

The goal of this module series is to assist medical and emergency response personnel in preparing for a response to a radiological incident.

The vision is to build an interconnected network of resources regionally to optimize available assets throughout each tier of the radiological response framework.

Target Audience

This enduring material module series is intended for medical and emergency response personnel who might respond to a radiation event.

Series Objectives

Upon completion of this enduring material module series, participants should be better able to:

  1. Provide an overview of how a radiation incident differs from other more common incidents.
  2. Identify the key players in a radiation response.
  3. Describe the key players in a radiation response.
  4. Describe emergency protective actions and zones as they pertain to a radiological event.
