Join us for a dynamic and enriching symposium designed to empower emergency medical services (EMS) professionals with the tools and resources needed to strengthen their ability to respond effectively to various high-stakes medical emergencies.
This offering will not only strengthen skills but also honor the dedication and sacrifices of EMS providers who serve our communities.
Through expert-led workshops, interactive case studies, and networking opportunities, attendees will leave equipped with valuable insights, actionable strategies, and renewed motivation to serve their communities effectively.
At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be better able to:
- Discuss evidence-based medical approaches to the treatment and management of patients experiencing medical emergencies.
- Identify patients who may be experiencing medical emergencies by using various shared tools, and teach current best practices for working with those patients outside a hospital setting and in the field.
- Describe innovative procedures used in the treatment of medical emergencies, demonstrating an understanding of relevant anatomy and related pathophysiology.
This accredited continuing education activity is designed for emergency medical services professionals.
In support of improving patient care, University of Nebraska Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Continuing education credit for EMS professionals is pending approval.
