This symposium provides a focused, evidence-based update on the diagnosis and management of rheumatic diseases. Attendees will gain practical insights into recognizing systemic manifestations, applying current diagnostic strategies, and implementing effective treatment approaches. We will also explore innovative therapies and advances that are reshaping the field of rheumatology and improving patient outcomes.
At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be better able to:
- Describe diagnostic approaches to rheumatic diseases and their systemic manifestations
- Identify systemic manifestations of rheumatic diseases.
- Summarize current treatment and management approaches for rheumatic diseases.
- Discuss the role of novel therapies and therapeutic innovations in improving patient outcomes.
This accredited continuing education activity is designed for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, fellows, residents, and students who care for patients with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by University of Nebraska Medical Center and Nebraska Medicine. University of Nebraska Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
This live activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
Nebraska Medicine is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by VTL Center for Professional Development, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Late Registration (Effective April 11)
Registrations submitted on or after April 11—online or on-site—will be accepted only as space allows. Meals and conference materials are not guaranteed for late registrants.

Payment Options
- Credit/Debit Card: Credit and debit card payments are accepted. A 2.95% non-refundable processing fee will apply.
- E-Check/ACH Transfer: Electronic check (ACH) payments are strongly recommended and do not incur any additional fees.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your registration, please email registrationCCE@unmc.edu no later than April 10, 2026. A $25 processing fee will apply to cancellations received by this date.
Please note, if you paid by credit or debit card, the 2.95% card processing fee is non-refundable.
Cancellations made after April 10, 2026, as well as registrants who do not attend, are responsible for the full registration fee.
