At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Integrate emerging stroke care technologies into coordinated, interprofessional management plans across the care continuum.
- Implement collaborative strategies within interprofessional teams to address the mental health and psychosocial needs of stroke survivors during acute care, rehabilitation, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate across disciplines to design equitable and sustainable stroke care approaches that address rural access, population health needs, and reimbursement barriers.
- Apply updated American Heart Association Stroke and Skilled Nursing Facilities certification standards to improve cross-setting communication, care transitions, and regulatory readiness derived from case-based scenarios.
This accredited continuing education activity is designed for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, rehabilitation specialists, and students.
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by University of Nebraska Medical Center and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. University of Nebraska Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your registration, please email registrationCCE@unmc.edu no later than Sept. 11, 2026. A $10 processing fee will apply to cancellations received by this date. Please note that if you paid by credit or debit card, the $3 card processing fee is non-refundable. Cancellations made after Sept. 11, as well as registrants who do not attend, are responsible for the full registration fee.
