Programs & Initiatives
Our office supports programs and initiatives that help individuals explore, enter and advance in health careers. This work includes pathway development, program coordination, evaluation and projects that respond to Nebraska’s evolving workforce needs.
We work with UNMC programs and external partners to unify workforce development efforts, support pathway programs, evaluate impact and advance initiatives that respond to Nebraska’s health workforce needs.
Health Opportunities Programs
Health Opportunities Programs support Nebraska’s health workforce by connecting students with health career pathways and educational opportunities. OHWI supports the evaluation and strategic evolution of HOP initiatives as part of its broader work to strengthen the learner-to-workforce continuum.
These programs help students explore health careers, connect with educational pathways, and prepare for future roles in Nebraska’s health workforce.
