  • Beers Criteria®: The American Geriatrics Society 2023 Updated AGS Beers Criteria® provides an overview of evidence-based recommendations about drug-related problems and adverse events in older adults, many of which contribute to fall risk.
  • STOPPFall: The STOPPFall (Screening Tool of Older Persons Prescriptions in older adults with high fall risk) was developed by a 24-member panel of geriatric experts from the European Geriatric Medicine Society Task and Finish Group on FRIDs (fall risk increasing drugs) using a Delphi process. This tool can support health care providers in identifying and deprescribing fall risk increasing drugs when performing a medication review.
  • Fall Risk Checklist: The Fall Risk Checklist from the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and National Council on Aging is a comprehensive checklist of fall risk factors that includes sections on medication self-management and assessment.
