 Full-Time Faculty Positions

Cytology Faculty  - Rank Depends on Qualification

Full-time, 12-month faculty position in the Cytology Program in Omaha, Nebraska. The job responsibilities of this position may include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Participation in daily teaching, research projects, and administrative activities.
  • Managing virtual microscopy resources.
  • Assisting in student recruitment and program marketing.
  • Domestic travel is needed.

Respiratory Therapy Program Faculty - Rank Depends on Qualifications

The faculty member will provide teaching and may include clinical instruction to the students on both the Omaha and Kearney campuses, assist in PBL, clinical skills, simulation, support, and evaluation of students enrolled in the Respiratory Therapy Program. Build and sustain community partnerships in support of clinical education and outreach activities. Assist the program director with the day-to-day administration of the program, including recruiting, admissions, accreditation support, and advising processes.

Respiratory Therapy Program Faculty - Kearney - Rank Depends on Qualifications

The faculty member will provide teaching which may include clinical instruction to the students on the Kearney campus and synchronously via distance technology to students on the Omaha campus, assist in PBL, clinical skills, simulation, support, and evaluation of students enrolled in the Respiratory Therapy Program. Working with the Director of Clinical Education build and sustain community partnerships in support of clinical education and outreach activities. Assist the program director with the day-to-day administration of the program, including recruiting, admissions, accreditation support, and advising processes.

Anatomy Faculty - Kearney - Rank Depends on Qualifications

This Gross Anatomy faculty position is located at the Health Science Education Complex  on the University of Nebraska Kearney Campus in Kearney, Nebraska. The gross anatomy lab is state-of-the-art and the HSEC has extensive clinical simulation facilities.

This role works collaboratively with other College of Allied Health Professions and College of Medicine faculty on both the Kearney and Omaha campuses. In collaboration with other faculty, this role ensures the gross anatomy laboratory is a functional, safe, and properly equipped learning environment that meets all accreditation standards. This role is responsible for coordinating the exchange of donor bodies and preparing the donors for use in classes.

Full-Time Staff Positions

Education Program Coordinator I

With limited supervision, provide coordination of program-specific activities to support the Associate Director DMSc program, faculty, and students. This position works closely with other CAHP, UNMC, and external contacts to support accreditation, admissions and recruitment, curriculum development and delivery, events, research, communications, faculty recruitment, promotion and tenure, and complex administrative activities of the program.

Education Program Coordinator II

With limited supervision provide coordination of program specific activities to support Occupational Therapy Program Director, faculty, and students. This position works closely with other CAHP, UNMC and external contacts to support accreditation, admissions and recruitment, curriculum development and delivery, events, research, communications, faculty recruitment, promotion and tenure and complex administrative activities of the program.
Provide specialized, responsible and knowledgeable administrative support requiring independent judgment for Program Directors and faculty of College of Allied Health Professions.
