How to Apply

Preparing to apply to IPAP

Connect with your base education center/education service office and check your branch requirements.
1. Each branch of the military that participates in IPAP has slightly different admission requirements (ex: specific prerequisites, time limit restrictions, GPAs, military requirements, etc.). See links below.
2. UNMC only evaluates academic components (course prerequisites, GPAs).
Complete the academic prerequisite requirements.
1. Coursework Evaluations are not required for application/admission
2. Tuition Assistance Memorandums (TA Memos) for Branches
  1. The following TA Memos work for the majority of students:
    Army/Army National Guard
    Navy
    Air Force
    Coast Guard

1. 1. If after utilizing the above forms, you require a personalized Tuition Assistance Memorandum, please complete the Personalized IPAP Tuition Assistance (TA) Memo Request Form.
2. Do you have a question about a course satisfying a prerequisite requirement?
  1. IPAP and the PA career field need individuals who are capable of working individually to accomplish tasks and work through expectations. If you have questions about your past classwork, we recommend you critically review your work to determine if your classes will suffice as well as utilize your education office, they are there to be an education advisor to you and can help answer these questions if you cannot answer them on your own.
