The Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) team will participate in the Indigenous Mental Health and Self-Care Day hosted by the Omaha Tribe Behavioral Health Department. This community event is focused on promoting wellness, resilience, and self-care among Native individuals and families. COE staff will provide educational resources and informational materials on cancer prevention, screening, survivorship, and cancer types that disproportionately affect Native populations, while connecting attendees with available cancer-related support services and resources.
