Cancer Prevention and Control Program

Precision prevention and population health

The Cancer Prevention and Control program focuses on identifying and understanding the factors influencing cancer risks, with a special emphasis on disparities and rural populations in the catchment area. Discover methods for early detection, develop and implement cancer prevention interventions and improve the quality of life for cancer survivors through research in survivorship and symptom management.

Identify and understand the biological, environmental, behavioral, and social drivers that impact cancer risks with emphasis on disparities and rural/frontier populations.
