Lindsay K. Mundil, RDH, BS, MA, has been a faculty member in the Department of Dental Hygiene since 2007. She has served as a clinical instructor across a wide range of courses, including Preclinical Techniques, Clinical Techniques I & II, and Clinics I, II, III, & IV. In addition, she is the course director for DHYG 307: Medical Emergencies.

As the primary academic advisor for the dental hygiene program, she has served by guiding prospective dental hygiene students through their academic journeys. She actively contributes to institutional governance through her service on several committees, including the Dental Hygiene Admissions Committee, the College of Dentistry Executive Faculty Committee, and the Code Blue Team.

Mrs. Mundil is a member of UNMC's Interprofessional Academy of Educators, with a special focus on clinical education and simulation. In collaboration with UNMC’s College of Nursing, she has worked to enhance the dental hygiene curriculum by integrating simulated medical emergency experiences for dental hygiene students, utilizing the simulation laboratory at the College of Nursing in Lincoln.
