Nancy Adams, PhD, is the newest anatomist at UNMC's College of Dentistry in Lincoln. Her academic focus lies in anatomical education and pedagogy, with research interests centered on self-efficacy and the development of professional identity. Dr. Adams actively explores innovative technologies—including eye tracking, artificial intelligence and extended reality (VR/AR/MR)—to better understand the cognitive transition from novice to expert in healthcare education.
