Connie Kugel is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo. She earned a bachelor's degree in dental science and materials following completion of dental hygiene studies. She has more than 30 years of clinical experience, and 25 years in dental marketing, education and research, working with dental manufacturers, including Ivoclar, Pulpdent and Convergent Dental, as well as SUNY Buffalo Dental Research under Dr. Seb Ciancio.

She served as director of the Boston Center for Dental Education, and for two years has been at UNMC College of Dentistry as director of continuing education and a clinical instructor in periodontology. At UNMC, Connie teaches periodontal techniques for dental students and teaches dental hygiene students in dental materials.

Kugel is a past president of the Buffalo Dental Hygienists’ Association and the New York State Dental Hygienists’ Association. She has presented continuing education courses at many national meetings, including the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, RDH Under One Roof, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, California Dental Association, International Association of Comprehensive Esthetics, Hinman Dental Meeting and Yankee Dental Congress.
