Nicholas Murray, DMD
Nicholas J. Murray, DMD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Adult Restorative Dentistry at the UNMC College of Dentistry. Originally from the Boston area, Dr. Murray earned his undergraduate degree from Providence College in 2002. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2007. Following dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

With more than eighteen years of experience in both military and private practice, Dr. Murray joined the UNMC College of Dentistry, where he brings a strong focus on the digital transformation of modern dental care. He specializes in CEREC/CADCAM technology and the delivery of same-day dentistry, emphasizing patient-centered, efficient and high-quality treatment.

A leader in digital dental education, Dr. Murray is dedicated to advancing the integration of cutting-edge technology in both clinical practice and dental training. He is an active member of the Academy for Sports Dentistry and serves as the College of Dentistry’s liaison to Husker Athletics, supporting student-athletes through specialized dental care.
