Yun Saksena, BDSc, MMSc, DMD, is the associate dean for education and campus culture at the UNMC College of Dentistry. She has been an associate dean at UNMC since 2018. She has over 25 years of experience in higher education, starting as a clinical instructor in prosthodontics, with progressive leadership roles. She has been in administration for over ten years with experience in academic affairs, student affairs, admissions, clinical affairs and faculty development.

Dr. Saksena research interests are education, student success and campus culture. She also has an appointment at UNMC’s Graduate College, serves on several committees at the university level and coordinates and leads interprofessional education activities for UNMC’s Lincoln campus. She has held leadership positions in various sections of the American Dental Education Association and has served on several committees at the national level, including one that advises the ADEA Board of Directors. Dr. Saksena serves as an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Dental Education and the British Dental Journal. She has presented at National and International conferences.
