The incoming class of 2029 for our dentistry program has some impressive statistics. 


Of 803 applicants, 56 were accepted. The class includes 31 men and 25 women. Forty are from Nebraska, with 16 coming from eight other states. Thirty-three come from rural areas, and 23 are  from urban areas.

Academic Accomplishments

The 56 students accepted from 803 applicants have majors of biochemistry, biological sciences, biology, business administration, chemistry, health and exercise science, general science, health science, neuroscience, psychology, molecular biology, and nutrition and health sciences.

Pathway Programs

Six of the incoming students are graduates of Nebraska colleges and universities through our Rural Health Opportunities Program and our Kearney Health Opportunities Program. These pathway programs recruit, educate and graduate leaders from Nebraska who are committed to returning to Nebraska's rural areas to practice health care.
