About Dr. Kennel

Victoria (Vicki) Kennel, PhD, is a wife, mother of an infant and a preschooler and an industrial organizational psychologist working as an assistant professor in the Department of Allied Health Professions Education, Research, and Practice at UNMC. She joined the UNMC faculty at the end of 2015 and completed the iLEAD program in 2017. Vicki is passionate about integrating industrial organizational psychologists into all aspects of health care delivery to improve patient safety, quality of care and optimize the lived work experience of health care professionals and the teams they lead.

Vicki believes the foundation of an effective coaching experience starts with strong relationships and clear values. Her coaching process is focused on asking powerful questions to spark reflection and introspection on what you value, why, and how these values align with your goals. She uses her skills as an industrial organizational psychologist to help you take a holistic look at situations and will guide you through a dialogue that empowers you to discover your next steps to help you achieve your goals.
