Accelerating the careers of more than 200 leaders
Leadership development at UNMC has a long-standing history of interprofessional collaboration. Formally established in 2001 as the Administrative Colloquium, our longitudinal leadership program has grown and evolved into the iLEAD program.
The rapid pace of health care requires strong, innovative leaders who are ready to shape the future of UNMC. Yet the many pressures faculty members frequently confront today affect their ability to impact an organization. To provide faculty with the critical leadership skills they need to play a meaningful role, UNMC Faculty Development offers iLEAD.
This intensive, one-year program accelerates the growth of faculty’s leadership talents so they can immediately apply their new skills in their career. iLEAD’s curriculum takes the participant through a leadership journey, an excursion of personal and professional assessment and skill building while fostering individual accountability for leading.
