Each October, the Munroe-Meyer Institute provides a Halloween event for individuals with disabilities and their families.

The event is designed to be sensory-friendly by not incorporating loud music. Costumes are optional but encouraged!

While many attendees and their families receive services at MMI, some are a part of the wider community, drawn by the accessible nature of the event and, in some cases, interested in learning more about MMI and the services we provide.

Trick or Treat 2026

Trick or Treat will be held at MMI on Sunday, October 18 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Volunteers can assist with setting up, decorating, cleaning up, or guiding participants on event day. Send an email to Jackie Hankins-Berry if you are interested in volunteering.
