Trick or Treat

Young child in a creature costume picks out candy from a large bowl.

Each October, the Munroe-Meyer Institute provides a Halloween event for individuals with disabilities and their families.

The event is designed to be sensory-friendly by not incorporating loud music.  Costumes are optional but encouraged!

While many attendees and their families receive services at MMI, some are a part of the wider community, drawn by the accessible nature of the event and, in some cases, interested in learning more about MMI and the services we provide.

Trick or Treat 2025

Thank you to the many folks who attended our eighth annual Trick or Treat event!  We had nearly 800 visitors, more than 100 volunteers, and over 35 treat tables! This success of this event is owed to MMI employees and community partners who are committed to provide our community a safe, free and enjoyable experience.
