Online registration for the reunion has closed. To register, please call the Alumni Office at 402-559-4385.

Attire is summer business casual for the Friday daytime activities. We encourage you to wear comfortable shoes for walking on campus. Reception attire is business formal.  

The Alumni Office sent a confirmation email to registrants on Friday, September 26th. That message contains all the information you need for your participation in reunion weekend.

ON-CAMPUS PARKING – ACTION NEEDED PRIOR TO FRIDAY 

For Friday’s activities at the East Campus Union, parking is available in the lot located at the northeast corner of 37th and Fair. The overflow lot is located at 1777 N 42nd St. View a parking map here. 

You must access UNL Parking Service’s online portal before arriving on Friday to register your vehicle. Please follow the instructions below to secure your parking. 

  • Go to https://unl.aimsparking.com/  
  • Click on the icon Purchase Event Permit 
  • Click on Special Event 
  • Click on College of Dentistry Alumni Reunion  
  • Enter Voucher Code: DENTAL75 
  • Click the Daily Conference Permit box 
  • Select the start date: Friday, October 3 
  • Click Confirm 
  • Select Add Vehicle 
  • Enter the required information for the vehicle parked on campus for the event. (If the car has an in-transit sticker, please use the last eight digits of the VIN instead of the Plate number.) 
  • Click the Terms and Services box. 
  • Click Continue. 
  • Review information and make any necessary changes. 
  • Click Checkout

If you need assistance registering your vehicle online, please stop at the check-in table and an alumni staff member will assist you. You will need to have your vehicle information, including license plate state and number and vehicle make and model. 

Faculty and staff must park in their assigned campus parking lot. 

The Nebraska vs. Michigan State football game kicks off at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 4th. If you purchased admission to the pre-game tailgate, it will begin at 12:30 p.m. and your name will be on a guest list at the event. The tailgate will close at 2:30 p.m.  

If you purchased football game tickets, you will receive further communication and they will be digitally transferred to you Monday, September 29th. The Athletic Department does not issue physical tickets for Nebraska football games. 

Dr. Stan Harn will have History Museum artifacts available for viewing on the lower level in the College on Friday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Stop by at any point during this time frame to visit.

    Simplifying Anterior Composites for Predictable Results

    This course will provide a practical approach to anterior composite restorations by focusing on simplified techniques that provide predictable and esthetic results. Attendees will review the latest updates in adhesive dentistry, composite selection, and material advancements. The session will also cover layering strategies, shade selection, and finishing protocols that enhance both longevity and clinical efficiency.

    Learning Objectives:

    1. Describe current adhesive systems and protocols to achieve reliable bonding in anterior composite restorations.

    2. Identify effective composite selection and simplified layering techniques to match natural esthetics using minimal shades.

    3. Apply finishing and polishing methods that improve restoration longevity and patient satisfaction.

    Professor and Director of Clinical and Translational Research 
    Department of Oral Biology

    Diagnosis and Management of Oral Mucosal Lesions: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

    This course will consist of a presentation of oral mucosal lesions encountered in daily practice. Cases will be presented emphasizing the importance of lesion description and history in developing a differential diagnosis. Therapeutic management will also be discussed.

    1. Provide an appropriate clinical description for a given lesion.

    2. Develop a differential diagnosis based on the history and clinical presentation.

    3. Determine the appropriate management based upon the definitive diagnosis.

The evening program will feature remarks from the Dean, alumni awards, honor class recognition, and musical entertainment. Honor classes will be seated together, recognized during the program, and have a group photo taken by the reunion photographer.

Free time for honor classes to meet at locations around Lincoln or stay at the Nebraska East Union for further celebration.
