Nicole Baker

Nicole M. Baker, RDH, MHPTT, is an assistant professor for the Department of Dental Hygiene at the UNMC College of Dentistry. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from the UNMC College of Dentistry West Division Dental Hygiene Program in 2008. She obtained a master’s degree in Health Professions Teaching and Technology in 2021.

Nicole has taught full-time at the UNMC College of Dentistry West Division Dental Hygiene Program since 2008. Nicole is a course director of the DHYG 301 Preclinic Theory, DHYG 310 and DHYG 328 courses within the dental hygiene curriculum. Nicole is a dedicated clinical instructor and teaches both junior and senior dental hygiene students in multiple clinics throughout the dental hygiene curriculum. Nicole is the west division laboratory instructor for DHYG 309 Preclinical Techniques, DHYG 412 Local Anesthesia, DHYG 320 Clinic Techniques I, DHYG 330 Clinic Techniques II and DHYG 312 Nitrous Oxide-Oxygen Sedation.
