Respiratory Protection

All employees and students who work in areas in which there is potential exposure to airborne contaminants are required to use respiratory protection and to enroll in the UNMC respiratory protection program.

Our program ensures compliance with the OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard, as specified in 29 CFR 1910.134.

We will assist in procuring respiratory protection supplies to ensure they are appropriate for the task and that they are coming from a trusted source

Each specific type, model and size of respirator requires a fit test and medical evaluation prior to use.
