Research Interests

Increase COVID-19 vaccination rates within the North Omaha African American community, reducing health disparities among African Americans and addressing social determinants of health, educating the community and minimizing the stigmas on mental health, improving healthcare outcomes and building trust between African Americans & the healthcare system. I am also interested in substance abuse recovery, re-entry for convicted felons, & reducing the recidivism rate of African Americans in the prison system.
