Admission Timetable for the Medical Nutrition Program

Application Open: August 5, 2025
Application Close: October 1, 2025
Interviews: Kira Assessment in early October 2025

August
Application Opens. Online Dietetic Inclusive Centralized Application Service (DICAS) application for admission opens. See How to Apply for application instructions.

October 1
Final Application Deadline. Application & supporting materials MUST be submitted by the deadline including official transcripts from every college or university attended. Online submissions MUST be received from your two evaluators/recommenders by this deadline as well. Application & supporting materials must be received by DICAS.

Early October
Interview Session. Selected applicants will complete virtual, asynchronous interviews using the Kira Talent platform (What to Expect). Interview notification letter sent to all applicants via email.

Late October
Applicant Open House. Eligible applicants will be invited to attend an in-person Open House to explore our facilities, meet faculty and learn about our student experience. Events are held at both our Kearney and Omaha locations. Additional details will be shared via email.

November
Admission Notification. Admissions Committee decisions are made and offers will be made by phone followed by written notifications of acceptance. Notification letters sent to all applicants via the email address provided in their application.

Mid-July
Entering students must have completed all required course work. If more time is needed, permission must be received from the College of Allied Health Professions Enrollment Management & Student Affairs.

August
University, College, and Program Orientation events held the week before classes.
Classes begin.
