Mission Statement

The mission of the UNMC College of Public Health Alumni Council is to encourage the lifelong stewardship and participation of its members, to affirm the mission, vision and values of the University, and to support current and future College of Public Health students through mentoring relationships, alumni networks, and fundraising efforts for the University.

College of Public Health Innovation Fund

The UNMC Alumni Association Board of Directors has voted to usher in a “New Era of Alumni Engagement.” In an effort to reach and connect with more alumni of UNMC, all UNMC graduates are now members of the UNMC Alumni Association and the proud tradition associated with being a member.

The membership dues program has concluded and we honor all existing memberships. We also will extend special recognition and thanks to our lifetime members.

We expect this change will increase the number of alumni actively engaged with UNMC, its colleges and its students. In partnership with the University of Nebraska Foundation and the colleges, we are actively leading an annual giving program to promote academic excellence and innovation in each college and support the people and programs of your UNMC Alumni Association.

UNMC Fund annual gifts are a vital source of support for UNMC colleges and the UNMC Alumni Association and are essential for our continued success. As part of the UNMC Fund, we have created an Innovation Fund for each college. Your investment in the College of Public Health Professions Innovation Fund ­provides opportunities to students, supports the people and programs of your Alumni Association, upgrades technology, enhances innovative programs, and more.
